About filigree: 

Filigree originated in Upper Mesopotamia around 3000 BC and, as its name suggests, is a type of handcraft made with wires. Although each region has its own subtleties and differences in filigree, filigree is generally created by twisting and crushing micron-thick silver or gold wires in a cylinder, then compressing them into a very thin metal frame in harmony and welding them.

About garnet:

Garnet is a semi-precious stone belonging to the silicate group of minerals with many different colors from green to brown, but the most popular is wine red. The English word “garnet” is derived from the Latin word “granatus” meaning seed. It is named because they resemble vibrant red pomegranate seeds.
